  • Correct usage of helmet, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes

  • Protective functions of each piece of equipment

  • Why PPE is vital in everyday work

Learning Objective:
Trainees know the components of PPE, how to wear them properly, and understand their protective function.

2. Understanding Safety Signs
Contents:

  • Introduction to mandatory, warning, prohibition, and emergency signs

  • Typical examples from the workshop (e.g., “Wear hearing protection”, “Danger: Electricity”, “No entry”, “Emergency exit”)

  • Proper behavior in the vicinity of these signs

Learning Objective:
Trainees can reliably recognize safety signs, interpret them correctly, and act accordingly.

3. Interactive Safety Exercises
Contents:

  • Orientation in the workshop using symbols and signage

  • Exercises for putting on protective equipment

  • Identifying and recognizing safety signs

  • Simulated sounds to illustrate risks (e.g., machine noise)

  • Final quiz to check understanding

Trainees apply their knowledge in practice, identify hazards, and reinforce safe behavior in a playful way.
